Acupuncture originated in China over 5000 years ago, it’s based on the belief that health is determined by a balanced flow of chi (energy) in the body. The vital life energy present in all living organisms.

According to acupuncture theory, chi circulates in the body along twelve major pathways called meridians. By inserting very fine, sterile single use needles at specific points along the meridians. The flow of energy (Chi) can be redirected and repositioned to relieve tension, stress and pain.

Acupuncture may be an effect short term treatment for the following conditions:

  • Back pain

  • Neck pain

  • Shoulder pain

  • Knee pain

  • Headaches

  • Muscles & joint pain

Dry Needling is an effective technique for the treatment of muscular pain and myofascial dysfunction. Dry needling a technique developed by DR Chan Gunn and is extremely effective for relaxing overactive muscles which contain trigger points. This approach is based on Western anatomical and neurophysiological principles; it’s not to be confused with traditional Chinese medical acupuncture.

These positions can lead cripples effects on the spinal structures. For this reason spinal analysis is important.
